I'm both an engineer and a research scientist. I have a doctorate in physics, and have worked a long time in the US as a chemical engineer with a license from the State of Washington. I will obtain a formal engineering degree (mechanical engineering and welding engineering) from a Russian institute in October of 2021.
My expertise spans from biogas cleaning (siloxane and hydrogen sulfide remediation) to the chemical processes in a paper mill (evaporators for black liquor, sulfur burning and sulfur dioxide preparation, ash mixing, green liquor preparation, causticization to white liquor, NCG collection and incineration, sulfur dioxide scrubbing) to other chemical processes (sulfuric acid making and acid neutralization process) as well as a good understanding of the nuclear fuel cycle, mechanical engineering and welding engineering (and associated GOST).

Perform elaborate engineering and scientific calculations which require data analysis and modelling techniques to interpolate, extrapolate and transform knowledge of physical system observables to understand current processes and predict the outcome of new physical systems.
Support system implementation in the field, particularly in Russia. This includes working directly in the Russian language with customers and suppliers and providing instruction for plant operators, without the assistance of a translator. Work in other countries includes Finland, India, Indonesia and Sweden.
