involved in wellsite activities like downhole coring process, core catching; core preservation and stabilization, wellsite core spectral gamma, core plug sample acquisition and shipment for analysis in close coordination with wellsite geologist/petrophysicist, mudlogging and mud engineer. Besides these activities was heavily involved in Petrophysical Routine and Special Core Analysis planning and measurements viz-a-viz porosity-permeability; electrical properties; capillary pressure; wettability; High Pressure Mercury Injection Pc, Formation Damage studies from heavily laminated thin sand formations from various basins in India. This also expertise’s me to navigate from recommended analytical procedures as per rock types which ranges from dolomitic carbonates, clean sands to highly laminated and unconsolidated sand-shale blends, which was mostly the case with Krishna Godavari Basin (aka KG Basin) formations, thinly laminated diatomaceous ‘porcelanitic’ formation from Barmer Rajasthan, thin laminated unconsolidated sands from Kharsang Arunachal Pradesh. Also have expertise in Gas Chromatography for Head Space gas and Hydrocarbon gas analysis, and various other surface data measurements and interpretation for reservoir characterization and optimization.
